The Peach

This newly finished vacationer’s dream house has all the bells and whistles.

There are five bedrooms total, a great room on the second level with the kitchen, living and dining. There’s also a bonus gathering room on each floor where additional guests can sleep.

The third story has an incredible view of the ocean, with a wrap-around porch. The second story, where the main living is situated has a porch as well for indoor/outdoor living.

Each room has its own distinctive personality. Starting from the third floor, is the Peach Penthouse. This master bedroom has a king-sized bed, a walk-in closet and an attached spa bathroom complete with a stand-alone soaking tub and spacious shower. Right off the master bedroom is a viewing room and dry bar where you can gather together and view the ocean from inside and out. The master bedroom has direct access to the third floor porch. The third floor is a complete peach retreat.

The second level has two bedrooms each with a comfy queen-sized bed. The Eight Flags room is festooned with all the flags that have flown over Amelia Island. The Atlantic Ocean room is a calm, tranquil oasis. The bedrooms are serviced by a bathroom just outside the doors with a tub/shower combo. Across from the second floor rooms is an additional hang-out game room to relax and enjoy each other’s company.

On the first floor are two more bedrooms; the Cumberland Island room and the History of Fernandina room. Cumberland Island pays tribute to the nearby island with wild horses roaming the Dungeness ruins with on theme artwork decorating the walls. The queen sized bed comfortably fits two. The History of Fernandina room tells the tale of Fernandina through its decor and has two twin beds, making it a perfect kids bunk. The bathroom just outside the doors has a unique shower with a door to the backyard in the shower itself to make coming in from the shipping container pool and from the beach a breeze.

The first floor has a gathering room that opens up to the backyard, and the couch can sleep another guest. The washer/dryer is conveniently available on the first floor for any laundry needs you’ll have during your stay.

We are still adding to the decor and will be installing a custom, hand-made tile backsplash to the kitchen. We will update photos as changes are made.

The backyard has a hangout area with outdoor furniture, but the star of the show is the shipping container pool, featuring a window for social media moments. The hot tub is built-in to the pool itself, and is a delight to relax in, especially at night under the starry sky. There is an additional fee for use of the heater, which just covers the cost of the heating gas. Our pool is great for families due to the inherent safety of our shipping container pool. With a locking gate at the bottom of the pool entry steps, littles one can’t wander into the pool on their own.

The garage houses all the beach gear necessities and we provide 12 beach towels per booking. Many local rental companies are available to spice up your beach stay. Ask us for recommendations!
